Diesel X Samsonite. Levi’s X Star Wars. Prada X adidas. Basically, the things to put on the wish list this month. The brands put together some impressive collaborations for this winter. And I am already in the shopping mood. 

Diesel X Samsonite. 

Samsonite & Diesel announced a joint collaboration – they have created a collection of original, semi-transparent, extremely detailed luggage, considering the new generation of modern travellers. The pieces are born from a solid black base, and the yellow-light mesh network from the inside gives a unique appearance and allows a gradual level of transparency. “We live in a world where the balance between what we share and what we keep private is in a continuous flow. Inevitably, we all live a part of our lives in public – whether through social media, through our work, through social groups”, says Andrea Rosso, Creative Director of Diesel Licenses. The exclusive collection reinterprets 3 iconic Samsonite collections: Neopulse, Paradiver Light, Openroad. 

STAR WARS ™ x LEVI’S®

Or I may say… the capsule collection inspired by a galaxy far, far away. Since the debut of Star Wars: A New Hope in 1977, the legendary space fantasy has taken a special place in our imagination. Star Wars: The Rise of The Skywalker will be out in December 2019.  Therefore, Levi’s® x Star Wars collection features a range of iconic Levi’s® items as well as street style inspiration: T-shirts and sweatshirts, as well as Trucker Jackets and jeans. Each item also captures iconic elements from the Star Wars galaxy – graphics, characters or spaceships and, of course, the most recognisable quotes from the movie: “I’m your father”, “In a galaxy far, far away”, “GGWWWRGHH !!!!”of Chewbacca.

adidas X Prada 

So, so happy: the iconic 3 stripes of adidas sneakers will have now an additional logo.  adidas X Prada have announced the collaboration of the year. The first iteration of the collaboration is a unisex two-piece collection, which are sold together as a set. First, an all-white take on the iconic Adidas Superstar sneaker (which originally launched in 1969) and arm candy by way of an enlarged version of Prada’s iconic bowling bag tote (first spotted at the fashion house’s spring / summer 2000 ‘Sincere Chic’ show).
