Give me a lot of sun, a blue sea & enough coffee and I could spend an eternity in a swimsuit. Well, in 5, actually. And that’s because that these days I have (re)discovered 5 beautiful swimwear #MadeInRomania brands to make my summer even happier.
Noire Swimwear (https://noire-swimwear.com) – it’s a cool brand created by the designer Raluca Toma, founded in 2015, that tried to be a stylish alternative (with interesting models and cuts, with fantastic colours and combos) for all the girls that love the sea and the sun. I loved the black snake / red snake models and I also had a crush for the neon pieces. For this summer, I will put on my shopping list the Smokey Cross Strap Top & the Smokey High Leg Bikini. swimwear #MadeInRomania
Nalu Underwear (https://naluunderwear.com) – it’s a brand that has started with an organic made of cotton sustainable collection, all the products being made in a factory in Transylvania, Cluj-Napoca. “NALU is a project born out of a need to simplify life and offer an alternative to over-complicated everyday objects. We carefully manufacture lingerie and swimwear pieces that have the simplest design and are made of the highest quality fabrics. Because buying better-made things helps us buy less”, the designer Sonia Micu said. My swimsuit love? The Basic Swimsuit Patagonia.
INFSD Swimwear (https://www.infsd.com) – everybody know the two blondes nice & cool girls, Alina Ceușan & Carmen Grebenișan, those two bloggers that launched one of the coolest swimwear brands seen in the last two years. “Inspired by nature’s best colours and textures, our INFSD collections are made to match any taste. The possibilities are endless: from push-up deux pieces, scuba diving inspired long-sleeve suits to our signature VX vixen one piece that rocks any shape”, said the founders. And it’s just right: the swimsuits are perfect for a holiday on any beach – my choice will be the Black Marble Scuba.
I.D Sarrieri (https://sarrieri.com) – one of the lingerie Romanian brands that I admire so so much! Not only for the delicate pieces of lace & silk, but also for the beautiful swimsuits with interesting cuts. Launched in 1992, I.D Sarrieri is a well-known name on Romanian market and also on the international market. The brand intended to return to glamour that sets out to promote femininity and enable the wearer to feel at her sexiest, becoming her most-empowered self. My favourite swimwear for the summer of 2020 would be the Soleil D’été One Shoulder Swimsuit in Black/Gold.
Jolidon (https://jolidon.com) is another Romanian brand that made some history from its beginning, in 1993. Modern technologies, creative ideas, bold colours and shapes for everybody – the swimsuits from Jolidon are perfect for any summer holiday. My choice? From the Cruise 2020 collection, the Karma Beach model.
