Top 7 pants of the month
I did the math one day and the answer was pretty simple: pants come always first, not the dresses. At least in my wardrobe, I say. Therefore, instead of making excuses for myself (or looking for new ways to include, somehow, a skirt in my outfit), I have decided to embrace the situation. And to celebrate it with… a pair of pants a day. This is the top 7 pants of the month/
The coolest trousers of this month are available on www.chic-paris-bucarest.com.
Blue Monday? Not for me. Coffee (a lot of coffee) and a cool pair of pants are enough to get me smile. For an office day I would try a pair of velvet pants (a texture so in vogue this season) – La Petite Française – CLICK HERE TO BUY – with a cool crisp shirt (CLIK HERE for more suggestions) and a Romanian-designed watch.
For inspiration, the Russian street style scene is amazing, as ever – look here.
Tuesday Meetings. Let’s get serious – sometimes, Tuesday is the most productive day of the week. Therefore, a pair of cigarette pants in black, with a classic cut and side slit pockets, is ideal for a day full of meetings – Intropia – CLIK HERE TO BUY. A turtleneck white blouse or a ruffled silk shirt, plus a low heels boots are the suggestions for pairing.
For inspiration, look for one classical fashion books and be inspired – look here.
Wednesday Vibe. From work to a dinner with friends? Why not, when I can wear a pair of trousers I feel comfortable in? A white pair would be my choice (yes, even it’s winter outside!) – Intropia – CLIK HERE TO BUY. Of course, with the most amazing sweater I can find – for more suggestions – look here.
For street style inspiration – the bloggers and socialites at Copenhagen Fashion Week.
Thursday Cool. I’ve always loved the smoking pants; every time I see a pair I instantly think back to Marlene Dietrich or Katherine Hepburn and the sexy iconic pictures of Helmut Newton. The trousers of this week are by La Petite Française – CLIK HERE TO BUY . And basically, they would go with anything. And anywhere: with T-shirts and sneakers for a day in the office, with silk tops and heels for an important meeting, with a leather top and boots for a night out.
For inspiration – look at the images from Helmut Newton exhibition.
Friday Fever. Finally, it is time for jeans (for me, actually, every day it’s a good day for jeans). A classical indigo pair would work with anything, from shirts or blazers to hoodies and asymmetrical blouses. The choice his time – a pair for jeans from Reiko, a French brand with a long tradition in jeans making – CLICK HERE TO BUY .
For cool outfits – Paris Fashion Week.
Active Saturday. Shopping, brunch with friends, a movie night or a party? I think I can got them covered with a unusual pari of pants from Intropia (CLIK HERE TO BUY). Cozy enough to wear all day log, interesting enough to get noticed.
For weekends, a party on the roof is a good idea – here are the best places to go.
Relaxed Sunday. Nothing compares with a sunny Sunday morning, when the coffee, the book, the air are better than ever. For a relaxed day at the museums or for a cozy afternoon in the house – the patterned silky soft pants from Intropia (CLICK HERE TO BUY) are ideal. All I need is a comfy white sweater or a cotton long-sleeved striped blouse, in order to follow the overlaying prints trend.
The exhibition I want to see right now? The Patrick Demarchelier, Helmut Newton, Irving Penn and Ellen von Unwerth “Women on View” in Berlin.
