The wish list: the perfumes I want for this spring

May 19th, 2020 / by / in: Cool things / No responses

Two month in isolation means enough time to try new scents. Or, at least, to imagine how the perfumes smell like. And, along with the dream, to travel in unexpected places. Therefore, I put on my wish list 6 perfumes that I want for this spring.

Hermès – Eau de Rhubarbe Écarlate

I was a fan of Hermès Orange Verte, so I really want to see if I can fall in love with this one, as well. Rhubarb, forrest fruits, white musk… can be something more tempting? – www.hermes.com

Goutal – Mandragore Pourpre

From the writings of Machiavelli to Shakespeare, the powers surrounding the mandrake are legendary. The mystical root was said to divert lightning and was used to make love potions. – http://www.madisonperfumery.com

Atelier Cologne – Orange Sanguine Cologne Absolue Pure Perfume

Ten years ago or so, I received as a gift from a friend. I was totally amazed by it and, when all I had was a empty bottle, I was sad. For sure is now again on my wish list. The notes of Italian orange perfumes, Australian sandalwood, and geranium from China blend evoke the relaxed vibe of a breakfast on a sunny terrace in Positano. – https://www.ateliercologne.com

JusBox – Beat Café

A scent of leather and tobacco, a little cognac and black pepper – it is a mix that inspires me to imagine the Beat generation, the blues, the poetry, the literature, the fashion of the 60s, all of them are in a bottle of JusBox – Beat Café.  – https://www.beautik.ro

Philly & Phill – Punks in paradise

“They broke out. Broke free. From their picture perfect lives, escaping into the wild night. They wanted adventure and to feel the rush of adrenaline. They inhaled life, inhaled love.” Top: Hemp, Bergamot, Mandarin, Nutmeg. Heart: Plum, pear, Peach, Ylang Ylang, Galbanum. Base: Amber, Patchouly, Leather, Sandalwood, Ambroxan and Punk. – www.rosamundiperfumery.com

Armani Privé – Orangerie Venise Eau de Toilette

I think I might have an obsession related to oranges. The nose behind this fragrance is  Dominique Ropion. Top notes are bitter orange, citruses and bergamot – so fresh and beautiful! – www.giorgioarmanibeauty-usa.com, www.douglas.com
