The perfumes I love right now: 6 scents for cold days

Every time the weather changes in the autumn I feel a bit… sad, with low energy and not in the mood of wandering outside in the rain and cold air. Oh, yeah, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do, therefore I have discovered that a wonderful scent in the morning could change my mood. These are the perfumes I love right now: 6 scents for cold days. (Pssst – and some cool outfits to go along with them, inspired directly from #RomanianDesigners collections).

1. The fragrance: L’Interdit Absolu by Givenchy
The notes: Top notes are Guatemalan Cardamom, Lavender and Neroli; middle notes are Indian Tuberose, Jasmine Sambac and Orange Blossom; base notes are Rum, Tobacco, Haitian Vetiver and Patchouli.
The catch: Like a true icon, L’Interdit dares to reinvent its atemporal bottle. Bolder and more faceted, L’Interdit Absolu showcases a new sharpened design. To amplify this new luxurious shape, the bottle is dressed in black from top to toe. A clash between opacity and light diffraction. A pure mysterious object you just crave to touch.

2. The fragrance: Maison Margiela replica Soul of the Forest Eau de Parfum
The notes: Top notes are Black Currant, Moss and Pimento; middle notes are Balsam Fir, Labdanum and Maple sap; base notes are Atlas Cedar, Incense and Patchouli.
The catch: Maison Margiela replica Soul of the Forest’s evocative scent is defined by a surreal ingredient at its heart, the Mystical Wood. The new Replica Fantasies bottle is now styled in a lavish, elevated black lacquering. Fashioned in weighted glass, the flacon is sealed at its neck with a deep black rope.

3. The fragrance: Les Exclusifs de Chanel Coromandel by Chanel
The notes: The nose behind this fragrance is Jacques Polge. Top notes are Bitter Orange, Neroli and Citruses; middle notes are Patchouli, Orris, Rose and Jasmine; base notes are Benzoin, White Chocolate, Woodsy Notes, Incense, Tahitian Vanilla, Olibanum and Musk. I will choose the body oil 🙂 this time.
The catch: Coromandel carries the name of the exotic Chinese lacquered screens. “I almost fainted with happiness the first time I saw a Coromandel in a Chinese shop” Mademoiselle Chanel confessed. She covered her walls in Paris with precious Coromandel screens, teaming Asian flowers with the classic style of her apartments to give them an aura of mystery and sophistication.

4. The fragrance: Bastille Demain Promis
The notes: The nose behind this fragrance is Caroline Dumur. Top notes are Cardamom, Bergamot and Cinnamon; middle notes are Lavender, Milk, Sage and Rose; base notes are Cashmeran, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Tonka Bean and Patchouli.
The catch: New year, new you… you turn off the TV, do yoga in the morning, finish the book that’s been waiting for six months. But then you sense this fragrance. Sage and lavender stir the milky and spicy notes of the chai latte and sandalwood. Let all go now, live in the moment and let tomorrow sort it out.

5. The fragrance: Viktor & Rolf Spice Bomb Dark Leather
The notes:  Top notes are Black Pepper and Nutmeg; middle notes are Cinnamon and Frankincense; base notes are Black Leather and Tobacco.
The catch: Created by the original team of perfumers behind Spicebomb, Carlos Benaim and Jean-Christophe Hérault, this fragrance is a modern explosion of contrasting leather and spice. The Spicebomb Dark Leather bottle reinvents the iconic Spicebomb grenade with a modified mysterious and elegant look in an attractive, enigmatic matte black color.

6. The fragrance: Ralph Lauren Polo’s 67 Eau de Toilette Spray
The notes: The nose behind this fragrance is Marie Salamagne. Top notes are Pineapple, Bergamot and Lemon; middle notes are Sage, Juniper and Rose Hip; base notes are Vetiver, Patchouli and Goldenrod.
The catch: The iconic Polo branding is reimagined with a new logo that pays homage to the history of Polo. A luxurious dark blue bottle accented with a vintage white Polo 67 logo and topped with a metallic blue cap. The bottle was consciously designed to be refillable.
