Stockholm Fashion Week AW2019/2020 – the mood

This year, Stockholm Fashion Week was more colourful than ever. Curious thing, I would say, considering the neutral and minimalist taste of the nordic fashion. The clean cuts and the classical pieces remained in the game; the colours, though, took over the catwalk. Here they are – my 7 favourite collections of Stockholm Fashion Week AW2019/2020.
Flowers, checks, colourful patterns and some written messages on black & white coats: this season, Stockholm designers chose to put some more unusual shades on their designs.

I like the minimalist cuts in Hope collection – the long coats in sand tone and the checked midi jackets are just perfect for the cold season to come.
From the Beckhmans College of Design I have noticed the items with an Asiatic touch, in black and white – the written details of the collars and belts, as well as the oversized sleeves.
Looking as MaxJenny! collection, I could easily say that is summer all over: pink and red, green and electric blue, illustrations and graphics. Let’s notice that the overlaying trend is not gone yet – two blazers on top of each other is still a good-to-go look.
Colours, signs, summerish colours as well I could see in Rave collection. And a coat over some loose blazers. Therefore, looking at some Stockholm Fashion Week SS2019/2020 outfits, I know that if in doubt, I will dare to wear prints over colours!
Even if the prints conquered the catwalk, the Nordic style is still strong in its minimalism and neutral palette – just look at Stylein collection in white, black and grey (love, love the effect of an oversized warm scarf over the coat). Or at the House of Dagmar and their dark blue coats paired with white shirts and flared jeans.
