Into the wild: Mercedes-Benz T Class

A perfect car for a holiday involving bikes, tents and (maybe) a surfboard. & airbags, 5 stars NCAP safety (the only car in its segment), precision in terms of centimetres in identifying the exact address you wanna go. Plus a Mercedes-Benz comfort and a luxury car drive feeling. The new Mercedes-Benz T Class is not just a van, as you have imagined. It is the perfect holiday car. That is why.

The pretext?

How can you go on an active holiday, with all the sports equipments without folding the back chairs, without putting additional cases on top of the car, all in a premium vehicle? Well, the answer is now very simple – Mercedes-Benz T Class is, how the German constructor says, “the solution for an active life”. So I embarked for an active escape – from Rasova winery (yep, you have space to but a whole barrel of wine in the trunk, if that was the question) to a Tomis harbour yacht, from Cheile Dobrogei (where I have never been before and I was pretty dazzled) to a quick ride from Razlem to Gura Portiței.

The drive

It was… a Mercedes-Benz one. And that means smooth, safe and very comfortable. My bonus point to T Class model – the gear stick is a proper one (yes, I admit, I really hate the sticks under the wheel).

The exterior

If you look at it from the front, there is almost no difference to a Mercedes-Benz SUV. The aerodynamic lines are good enough to get to the limit speed on the highway without hesitation. The lateral doors are sliding easily

The interior

It is a Mercedes interior. Yep, with all the features that exists on a limousine: leather wheel, the tablet to see the drive, the comfortable and adjustable seats. Also you can put in the back up to three kid chairs.
It has a multimedia system MBUX, tactile screen (7 inch) and smartphone integration, Touch Control system on the wheel and KEYLESS Start function.

On my wish list because… I can go to the seaside with my surfboard without having it stuck into the front window. And because I could transport my bikes safe and sound to the nearest forrest.

Best match with… a hiking suit or a surfing gear.
