I know you might say I have an obsession. But I cannot tell you how happy I am to hear this particular piece of news. The cult Japanese label sacai and the cool eyewear design brand Linda Farrow are joining this season for the coolest collaboration of the season: sacai x Linda Farrow.
The sunglasses collection sacai x Linda Farrow could be found on www.sacai.jp or www.lindafarrow.com.

“I like to play with the most authentic, pure form of a product and to find ways to create something new and unexpected that still feels real,” said Chitose Abe, designer of sacai (www.sacai.jp). “My goal was to create sunglasses that I’d personally love to wear.” She re-created classic aviators and round and square-framed sunglasses by fusing sleek, silver metal frames with acetate ones, in a palette of navy, black and white.
The collection, made in collaboration with Linda Farrow (www.lindafarrow.com) eyewear brand, explores four recognisable sunglass shapes, made new through a technique of fusing industrial metal frames with highly polished acetate to create unexpected details, in a classical, pure palette of navy, black and white.
Sacai has been increasingly focusing on expanding its accessories offer over the last few seasons. A footwear collaboration with Pierre Hardy also made its debut on the fall runway, while the brand’s handbag line — a project Abe works on with Katie Hillier — made its debut last October.
