Cool exhibitions I wanted to see next weeks
I know, it seems I am very into #art last months. Well, when outside is very gloomy and the times we are passing not so bright, the only escape is to see the beauty around me. Therefore, I put on my wish list some cool exhibitions I wanted to see next weeks – from collages to famous artworks and new artists and installations. (For more beautiful things – READ here – 6 exhibitions to see until the end of November + The Yiqing Yin fashion exhibition in Calais)

Well, spoiler alert: some of the exhibitions I saw already and others are still on my list. I will start with the newest exhibition at Gaep Gallery – @gaep.gallery – Memories and Prophecies.
The artists presented in the exhibition are: Răzvan Anton, Roberta Curcă, Théo Massoulier, Tania Mouraud, Vlad Nancă, Damir Očko, Cătălin Pîslaru, Mihai Plătică. The timming: 21st of November 2025 – 31st of January 2026. The group exhibition examines the connections between past, present and future. Through painting, sculpture, drawing, photography and collage, the participating artists relate to time in different ways: as a material, a creative process, a cycle, a journey, a lens for analyzing change, or in relation to space and the universe.
I was really happy to see the newest works of Damir Očko (READ here an interview with the artist) – two new large-scale collages “dragforms” (cross-dressing forms) that transpose the names of phobias into anagrams: optophobia, the fear of opening your eyes, and siderophobia, the fear of stars.
The second stop of my art list will be at Euforia, at the seaside. The Black Sea Seen by the Yellow Elk (Marea Neagră văzută de Elanul Galben) – episode 3 of the Art on Bread series – a concept by Euforia. To be more precise, I want to see the art work made by dear Liana Popa (@avetisiperoz) and Sorin Crăciun (part of Elanul Galben creative studio) – in this projects they try to gather as many of their passions and skills as possible: advertising, photography, love for nature and animals, love for objects, roads and places that tell stories.
At Euforia will be on display, on 22nd of November, for one day, 3D and 2D arrangements, illustrations, photographs, installations, objects and decorative elements inspired by our coastline – some of which will be available for purchase (between 2-5 pm, at Euforia Retreat & Spa, 66 Mării Street, Eforie Sud, registrations are made via the link in Euforia’s Insta bio – @euforia).
Next #artstop: at another friend’s event, Tatiana Ernuțeanu (@tatianaernuteanu) – analog collages exhibition – Sentimental – Tatiana Ernuțeanu – from 11 of December 2025 to 30 of December 2026, Paris 14 A street, Bucharest. The artist connects several areas of interest, being both a poet, an artist of analog and mixed-media collages and a publicist. Among the poetic practices she approaches are postcard sets (based on her own works) and hand embroidery. The inflexibility of certain social structures, the exploration of the body, the examination of the dominance of emotions, the contrast but also the simultaneity of appearance-essence, love or the loneliness of the school of socialization are some of the themes found in her writings and works.
The art tour continue with Celula de Artă events – @celuladearta. Yes, events, in plural, because I am not talking about a single #artstop. Full Season is an exhibition that concludes the 2025 season of the Vertical Gallery, located in Random Space – at National Technical Museum Prof. ing. Dimitrie Leonida from 18th of November to 30 of November. The exhibition brings together works signed by the artists who exhibited in the Vertical Gallery: Alexandra Hotico, Alexandra Țecu, Cătălin Gabriel Angelescu, Dana Cîrtog, Ioana Vîlcu, Sabina Stan and Teodora Grindei, who are joined by guest artists Oana Iordăchescu, Otilia Boeru and Raluca Ilaria Demetrescu. The exhibition is curated by Anca Spiridon and Mircea Laslo, and the exhibition design is by Bogdan Negulescu.
Then, at Gallery Studio 76 (Combinatul Fondului Plastic – from 19th of November to December 7) – Rebirth exhibition by artist Andreea-Eliza Petrov, which follows a journey through transformation a continuum in which the hidden rhythms of existence resurface and reclaim their brilliance.
The last, but not the least, I wait for a quiet day to pay a visit to the National Museum of Art – @muzeulnationaldearta – to see the exhibition RomanIA – the identity representation of folk costume in art (curator: Erwin Kessler) – 21st of November – 8 February 2026. From painting and sculpture, to graphics, photography, objects, installations, film, music, posters, fashion, stamps, playing cards, vases, banknotes, books, albums, cartoons and school textbooks – IA (la blouse Roumaine). Including the famous paiting signed by Henri Matisse, for the first time in Romania.
