The celeb Louis Vuitton squad presents Pre Fall 2019 collection
How to photograph 17 celebrities in two days (before Christmas), in one hectic city (New York) for a Pre-Fall 2019 lookbook? It’s simple: you have to be Nicolas Ghesquière to pull this trick out. Here is the story of Louis Vuitton Pre Fall 2019 collection.

Powerful. Cool with a touch of weirdness. The choice of the celeb squad was perfect: Alicia Vikander, Jennifer Connely, Léa Seydoux, Riley Keough, Chloë Grace Moretz are just some of the Louis Vuitton house friends that appear in this lookbook, shoot by Collier Schorr, along with some new faces as Kelsey Asbille, Indya Moore and Urassaya Sperbund. “The more I work, the more it’s about their response for me. It’s inspiring to see the second life of the clothes. For an ‘in-between’ collection, for which we don’t do a runway show, I thought it would be great to have their point of view”, said the designer of the house. “They all have different personalities that reflects Louis Vuitton fashion. Stars or young talents, they all have confidence in their choices.”
What we are going to see in this Louis Vuitton Pre Fall 2019 collection?
- The collection is anchored in an autumnal atmosphere, a season boasting an epihany of colours. City and country meet in a wardrobe that swings between a weekday urban attitude and clothes fit for a rural weekend.
- The colours & shapes – some bucolic prints and checks, tartan patterns, pleated skirts and preppy blouses, warm oversized jumpers.
- Léa Seydoux wears a siren-y floral-print sheath with a plunging V-neckline; Kelela layers a plaid blanket jacket over a floral dress over contrasting floral pants; Doona Bae models an oversize checked sweater and animal-print skirt.
- Louis Vuitton also presents an original version of its monogram, the Monogram Giant, found on the houses’s iconic bags.
