Miss Dior Essence – what would you do for love? (Or for the newest perfume from Dior?)

“Fruity, luscious, juicy… and sensual! I imagined the scent of Miss Dior Essence as a sexy and irreverent pop-art statement, like a reflection of the Serge Gainsbourg song “Comic Strip”, which goes SHEBAM! POW! BLOP! WIZZ! This colorful essence is ravishingly beautiful, like a liberated girl who dares to wear the vibrant looks and fuchsia miniskirts now seen on the catwalks of Dior shows, says Francis Kurkdjian, Perfume Creation Director. Meet the new Dior fragrance, Miss Dior Essence.

The perfume will be available this autumn in DIOR Beauy Boutique – Băneasa Shopping City – https://www.baneasa.ro/ , www.dior.com.

The notes…

A gourmand and juicy accord of elderflower and blackberry leads, with facets of fruity preserves which are nevertheless astonishingly fresh and sparkling. A Jasmine heart remains faithful to the narrative of the 1947 composition. But today, its floral character takes a bold approach with lively, mouthwatering fruits, heightened by a woody base of dark enveloping oak.

The bottle

Housing this new Miss Dior Essence required a highly significant and spirited showcase. The famous “bottle cut like a suit” takes up its original colors and sports the famous graceful and irreverent dagger bow. It resembles that of 1948, but is now tied in precious black grosgrain ribbon. For the first time, its lid is made of noble, sophisticated glass. Its four sides are elegantly frosted and engraved with the iconic Dior houndstooth pattern.

The runway manifesto

The Fall-Winter 2024-25 Ready-to-Wear Dior Show. The looks worn by the models are amazing, stunning: Miss Dior is writ large on sweaters and across bags. Inscribed in black letters, Miss Dior takes on the appearance of rebellious graffiti. Like a vibrant energetic slogan, this emblem-name single-handedly sounds like a statement made on behalf of women. Miss Dior is a manifesto written in capital letters.

The muse – Natalie Portman
Natalie Portman returns to her first love: Paris. Magnificent settings frame a beautiful, enamored soul turned rock icon. In a zipped warrior corset and high biker boots, she runs bare-legged in a spectacular short-skirt, like a dazzling red romantic-rock style train. Ever faithful director Manu Cossu meets his tireless heroine once again. He follows her wild race and takes flight with her in pursuit of love, highlighting the fiery temperament of his post-punk princess. Once again, Natalie Portman is radiance in action. With grace and strength, she embodies this icon of love who unhesitatingly shouts her passion out loud, and, above all, reminds us of her mantra:  “And you, what would you do for love?”.
