Like a Brit: 9 cool looks from London Fashion Week
The second Fashion Week of this season stayed under the sign of “see now / buy now” slogan. That is in terms of commerce. In terms of trends, for Fall/Winter 2017/2018 London Fashion Week brought velvet, floral prints, embellished coats, one-colour outfits, oversized wide leg pants, bizarre cuts and bright blues. But let’s the cut the story short. Here are my 9 favourite looks from the recent closed London Fashion Week.
First, the details were delicious: the kaki overall from Joseph has interesting sleeves, the beige pink powdered sweater from Christopher Kane took me by surprise with all the little pockets on the hand, the ruffles on the side of the beautiful blue blouse of Roland Mouret.
Secondly, the top trends of the season Fall/Winter 2016/2017: the velvet top/cape of Emilia Wickestead, the interesting layering seen at Marques’ Almeida and the Walt Disney fantasia prints seen at Mary Katrantzou.
And I saved the best for last: I am just in love with these three outfits. I didn’t know until know that I will want to wear something else than skinny jeans. But I could try Chalayan’s look anytime, it’s just perfect for the Fall/Winter 2017/2018 season. As well as Eudon Choi grey and blue outfit. And, speaking of skinny pants, I totally need David Koma buckled pants and the perforated jacket.
