50 Shades of white & blue
I love colors only on other people. OK, I said it! As for me… give me clothes in black, white, blue and grey and I’m satisfied. Add to that beautiful fabrics like silk, satin, jersey, cotton, cloth, tweed, chiffon, lace, crochet and I am already smiling. Promise me a holiday in Portofino and I will be happier than ever. Therefore, I could say the Spring/Summer 2016 collection signed by the two inventive designers Johnny Talbot & Adrian Runhof had my name on it.
“We imagined her waking up at her home in Portofino, throwing a tunic on top of her husband‘s tuxedo shirt and a random pair of satin slippers, sneaking out the back door through the garden (not to disturb her house guests) to check the hydrangeas before running off to the market to buy porcini and fresh flowers. Or sitting on the bow of her yacht enjoying the sunset, sipping a Negroni in a flowy printed chiffon pantsuit. Or perhaps disembarking from her helicopter for an event in Monte Carlo wearing a guipure fringe gown swirling in the wind…”, described those two designers the woman fitting in the clothes of the latest Talbot Runhof collection for Spring/Summer 2016, entitled “The Last Swan” (inspired by Marella Agnelli).
albot Runhof brand was founded in 2000 by Johnny Talbot & Adrian Runhof. The first flagship boutique opened in Munich and in 2003 they had their first show at New York Fashion Week. The two designers made costumes for ballet and opera shows in Germany and an online boutique is available from 2014. (www.talbotrunhof.com)
