On the wish list: Talbot Runhof SS17 looks

It’s a jungle out there! Everybody was taken by storm this autumn and transported in an exotic destination. From Leonard Paris to Kenzo for H&M, the jungle spirit is everywhere. Even in Talbot Runhof SS17 looks.

But the most funniest collection and the best catwalk music I’ve heard was at Talbot Runhof Spring/Summer runway in Paris. “Trust in me” theme from “The Jungle Book” was the perfect music for all the monkey embroidery on blouses, for all flowers and palms and sunshine colours on dresses and jackets, for jumpsuits and sahariennes (reinvented with oversized sleeves, with pockets, sleeves with oversized cuffs or ruffles), for sand cotton seersucker drawstring maxi dress, for blush cotton and linen sequin sweater, for colourful parkas and so on…

“The residents of the jungle”, as the designers Of Talbot Runhof called them were, this season: Clara Fantoccoli (the silk fil coupe jaquard was her invention), Janaina Milheiro (she used feathers for pieces to dream of), Martin Leuthold and Jakob Schlaepfer (in charge for cutting lame and chiffon).
