The urban love: Synthetic de CHANEL

When Karl Lagerfeld turns the entire Grand Palace in a data centre, what else could I expect from a make-up collection than to be perfectly fit for an urban fashionista?

SYNTHETIC DE CHANEL is the first COLLECTION LIBRE developed by Lucia Pica and the Makeup Creation Studio. And it is inspired by cityscapes and urban materials. The glass and metal and rubber (remember the rubber hemlines on CHANEL SS17 collection?) were put in the make-up palette (with its dark heavy grey tones) and nail polish (the metallic silver is a must this season!) or even in the vinyl sparkle of the lipsticks.

To cut the story short, Lucia Pica envisioned this collection as a unique experience. And here are the main characters of the story.

For the eyes:
The exclusive creation, ARCHITECTONIC, an eyeshadow palette inspired by urban colours. It has five shades (matte midnight blue, metallic blue, platinum grey, cement grey, mirror grey). Alternating matte and satiny finishes, colours pay homage to urban materials. As soon as they are applied, the matte shades make a fascinating and magnetic colour impact, while the satiny shades ensure a shimmering metallic effect. CALLIGRAPHIE DE CHANEL Hyperblack: an eyeliner in a jar with a brush applicator featuring a flexible, angled tip for absolute precision.

For the complexion:
An intense pink blush with a healthy glow effect, JOUES CONTRASTE Hyperfresh adds a fresh, light note to the collection.

For the lips:
With the different ROUGE ALLURE lipsticks of the collection, lips dress up in flamboyant, luminous colours. It cames in five different shades, form orange coral pink to a pale pinky beige or a fresh coral.

For the nails:
Inspired by the textures in a vibrant city, LE VERNIS are in tones of pink rubber, silvery reflection inspired by a rainy day around the steel skyscrapers and rose shade.
