In the Summertime with CHANEL makeup collection

A sun-kissed skin and a wavy beach hair: these are the the two things I love most in the summer. And if it is possible to have them before going to the seaside, literally, it is even better. Therefore, the summer 2016 CHANEL makeup collection is probably the best thing that I could put on my beauty wish list for these months. And I cannot wait for somebody to pop up the question: “where have you been this weekend? Miami?”.

With sun-drenched, luminous “postcard” colours, the “DANS LA LUMIÈRE DE L’ÉTÉ” makeup collection by CHANEL invites everybody to luxuriate in the summertime. Skin is brightened by the light-and-shade play of healthy glow powders. Eyes are enhanced by an ombré effect of ochres and browns. Lips are sun-kissed by coral and pink. Nails get noticed in smouldering shades.

For the cheeks: it depends on your skin and your imagination to have the glowing healthy skin you really want. Le Beiges offered two different powders duo: a terracotta brown & gold sand and deep pink & light beige.

For the eyes: The exclusive EMPREINTE DU DÉSERT, specially launched in a limited edition by the CHANEL Makeup Creation Studio, features four eyeshadows with soft, silky textures (copper, golden beige, brown, khaki green). Add to that the Stylo Yeux Waterproof and Le Volume de CHANEL Waterproof mascara.

For the lips: I have to choose from LÈVRES SCINTILLANTES six shades (Tanami, Adenium, Rouge Désert , Sirocco, Sahara and Dzhari). Thought choice, I tell you.

For the nails: VERNIS CULTE is available in new shades, with the most romantic globetrotting names, just perfect for the summer escapes (Turban, Cavalière, Canotier, Espadrilles, Émeraude).
