I am pretty sure that I am not going to see normcore outfits in Moscow. Or very minimalists ones. And I didn’t, as these streetstyle pictures prove. Yep, the fashion month was not over with the final runway on Paris. These days, Mercedes-Benz Russia Fashion Week gathered a lot of fashionistas and the military coats, the furs, the flashy footwear, the golden sunglasses, the branded bags and the awesome layerings were captured on the streest of Moscow. All of them in the incredible setup of Red Square or Gorky Park.
The coats: oversized, colourful, military-inspired theme. The colours are bold, the layering even more. Orange was one of the favourite colours, as well as the army (beige and kaki).
The details at Russia Fashion Week: I just loved them. Especially the skirt/veil with big eyes, the mini-bag / photo camera, accessorised with little stickers and some goth-rock rings, the dozens of buckles on the back of the jacket, the enormous drawings on the back (again!) of the fur jacket and, of course, the bag in the shape of a telephone.
The dresses, the layering: grey over grey over fur, different shades of blue and beige, the metallic shades over neutral soft colours. And, of course, as everywhere this Fashion Month (with rains and cold weather), the coats were loose on one shoulder, just to see the outfit underneath.
