Fantastic beasts and where to find them: Burberry FW2017/2018 collection
It has something to do with England, I am pretty sure. Harry Potter, fantastic beasts… The English brand Burberry follow the path of magic and, for Burberry FW2017/2018 collection, put a new fantastic collection in front of our eyes.
The Burberry FW2017/2018 collection includes: women and men pieces; every design was made in London studio; the leather pieces were individually hand painted.
You could find the pieces on www.burberry.com – in Romania, exclusively in Burberry flagship store, no.4 Luterana Street.
The design is inspired by mythical animals and birds seen in English Medieval illustrations. The fish, the owls, the complicated flowers are put on the clothes from Burberry FW2017/2018 in the London design studio, in an eclectic mix of colours, textures and embellishments.
At the core of the collection are small and large leather goods – cross-body bags, clutches, totes, key charms – that either take the shape of a beast or feature an appliqué or print.
In ready-to-wear collection Burberry FW2017/2018, creatures have been embroidered onto the brand’s classic cashmere scarves or ponchos, the silk dresses have floral patterns all overs, while leather appliqué embellishes jersey sweaters and capes. The collection features a mix of the brand’s signature materials, in a palette of olive greens, blues and coral red.
