Romanian Fashion Week X Bucharest 2026 – the favs

I missed the shows (I had a good reason, including an off the grid break). But I did stay alert, watching all the shows from Romanian Fashion Week x Bucharest 2026 on my friends stories. 🙂 If I have to say something only behind the screen, the shows looked amazing! What did I like at Romanian Fashion Week x Bucharest 2026?

A lot of transparencies, punk elements, upcycled pieces, organza, tulle, nets – I saw them all. But what I did like the best was the fact that, even without reading the description, I could identify all the designers – and that means that their brands are growing steady and beautiful, with a nice identity constructed on the way.

RCW X Bucharest 2026 New Wave – delicate feathers and materials at Genghiz Beghim (read the interview with the designer – HERE) and some new and very flirty dresses signed by Cristina Alexandru (the interview at Iași RCW with the designer – HERE). Minimalist lines at Andrada Negru (the interview with her – HERE) and a very cool piece in black at Mihnea Covaci. Mario Birdean continued his poetic exploration of the outfits (interview with him – HERE), while Erin Gregor inspired me with her minimalist approach. I like the new collection of Constantine (here the interview with the designer) and I admired the edgy approach at Haus of Creative Rebellion. Lorena Ion made us dreaming of summer & sailing again (a cool shooting and an interview with Lorena – HERE) and Cristian Mierlă presented a new capsule dedicated to men. MKN came with a sporty vibe, while Victoria Rusu and her dark romane reminded me of the catwalk at MDTV 2026 (here – about the alumni gala).

RCW X Bucharest 2026 Romanian Designers – both evenings were full of inspired looks! I saw a lot of pastels, cool flowers, summerish vibes and pink shades at Maria Marinescu, Sweet Paprika, Lena Criveanu or Daniel Radu. I noticed the hot & sexy transparencies at Irina Schrotter, Robert Roca or Ioana Ciolacu, the classical combo of black and white from Scapadona, Bianca Popp, the edgy cuts of Pif Stephano and Tudor Halațiu, and I loved the the classical suits presented by CuAnna and Ramona Bizbac.
