The 4 trends to be inspired from Copenhagen Fashion Week SS27 street-style

It is already the 20th edition of Copenhagen Fashion Week. It isn’t the youngest fashion week anymore 🙂 but is still one of the coolest and relaxed ones. And it is still a reference point for young brands and independent designers, with a continuous strong commitment to sustainability. The shows were very nice and elegant assembled and the streetstyle looks don’t disappoint. I found the 4 streetstyle trends to get inspiration from at Copenhagen Fashion Week SS27.

Prints over colors. Not so Scandinavian at all.

Bold pops of color, a crazy mix of prints and patterns, slick tailoring and a fantastic overlaying of accessories… No one does street style quite like Copenhagen Fashion Week show-goers! I saw a lot of leopard prints combined with fuchsia or electric blue, pink over red and yellow, green fringes and maxi floral prints. Nothing was too much for the streetstyle looks at this edition of Copenhagen Fashion Week. (See here – the red dominating the streetstyle outfits from the last edition of Copenhagen Fashion Week)

On two wheels, on the fashion mood

Of course I had to talk about bicycles. There is nothing more Copenhagen that two wheels ride in the most fashionable outfit of the day. I saw some sheer dresses over jeans, miniskirts or shorts but also color block suits and some fluffy pile of pink ruffles. A trend to follow, anytime!

White over white and a little bit of black or beige

It is Copenhagen Fashion Week, after all. Therefore, the black and white and beige and neutral pieces weren’t forgotten in the closet. And here is something in the crisp clear air of Scandinavia or something has to do with the attitude, but even the simples and sleekest shirts or skirts are looking glamorous in neutrals here, at CPHFW. (See here – the beige inspiration at Copenhagen Fashion Week 2024)

All the way glam (but strange) details

I have to start with a disclaimer: strange or weird doesn’t mean bad. It just means “never seen until now”, or… too little. This year, at CPHFW SS27 I saw a lot of bellies out, a ton of Havaianas (specifically the latest high-heat drop), some high-volume balloon pants, of course. Statement headwears. Colorful fishing nets. And dogs carried instead of a purse (so so cute!)
