UNAB: new fashion designers @Bucharest

Honestly, it’s a pity that the new generation of Romanian designers (and now I mean those from UNAB Bucharest) has no better promotion. I accidentally (and fortunately, thanks to Corina Boboc) went to UNAB 2016 gala, a week after UAD Cluj 2016 gala. There were a lot of people applauding the fashion designer graduates collections (but few journalists). I saw some good collections (and quite a few interesting setups) and listen to some interesting stories told by shapes, colours and fabric. And I tried, for a while, to find out some good pictures to illustrate my news. (Many thanks to Valentin Dragomir and Vlad Ciubotariu and their Facebook pages!)
Therefore, I liked the funky colors in Alina Rădulescu pieces, the shapes of Andreea Constantin dresses and capes and the classical touch seen at Elena Cazacu outfits. Plus, I loved the joy and fun in Corina Boboc setup and Raya collection (the models were real actresses, and it counted for artistic impression!)
I admired the collections presented of Irina Cristescu and Lavine Jianu (and their minimalist cuts) and my attention was taken by surprise by the back of the coat sent to the catwalk at Mădălina Nicoleta Ioniță (loved it!) and funny cartoonish pockets at Irina Ursache.
