Re-writing the rules of urban architecture
If summers are for holidays on the beach (and that’s not negotiable), autumn is, for me, the perfect season to (re)discover the city, its secrets and its architecture, as an Alice sent to an urban Wonderland. Of course I need the perfect clothes to blend in. I’ve already put my eyes on some deconstructed pieces from COS Fall/Winter 2017/2018 collection.
COS Fall/Winter 2017/2018 – on www.cosstores.com
The main features of the collection: new cuts and proportions inspired by architecture, a fresh approach of the classical pieces, as well as rich textures and geometrical shapes.
About the Women Fall/Winter 2017/2018 collection: designers from COS checked the trends for this season. I think I have no other option that to try the new at least one red piece (from the burgundy wool pants suit to deep red shoes or structured shoulder bag) or some designs that reminds me of a geometry class (long deconstructed sleeveless vest, a wool top with zippers, an oversized pair of pants or some shoes with interesting heels).
About Men Fall/Winter 2017/2018 collection: COS tried to reinvent the classical models, in a fresh & casual approach. The architectural references are present through colours (metallic blue, charcoal grey, midnight green, but also red, inspired by the design of a firefighters building imagined by Pedevilla design house in Tirol). I would love to see more of COS grey coats and relaxed beige shirts on the streets!
