Well, I do – only the cold is making this mission impossible. But, wait… there are some make-up products that can give me the same feeling of the Parisian holiday. “Christian Dior drew his inspiration from gardens, especially the Tuileries, the oldest French-style garden in Paris. Today it is still the heartbeat of the City of Lights,” says Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Make-up. “For this Holiday 2023 collection, it sets the stage for a Christmas fairy tale.” Inspired by the atmosphere, royal architecture and historical gardens of the capital city, Peter Philips composed a rich, elegant and festive collection. The golden hues of Parisian monuments harmonise with pure winter white, while baroque details from the Tuileries appear on cases, and engraved lipstick bullets look like works of art. The image of the campaign is Anya Taylor-Joy, a House of Dior friend and Ambassador.

The lips: The limited edition, Rouge Dior Forever Liquid is revealed to be more dazzling and innovative than ever. In its brand-new Sequin finish, it applies ultra-pigmented matte colour to the lips. And 4 interesting shades: 999 red, Seductive, Fascinating, Magical.

The eyes: the Tuileries Gardens inspired two Diorshow 5 Couleurs palettes in rich and opulent hues. A nocturnal ambience sees Night Walk explore steel, silver, anthracite and platinum greys, set around a golden centre. The radiant shimmering Promenade Dorée borrows its warmer, amber, champagne and bronze hues from the paths of the royal garden.

The nails: The finishing touch to this Holiday collection is Dior Vernis, which adorns the nails with deep and vibrant shades: Mirror, a platinum silver, Black Rivoli, a deep crimson with tone-on-tone sparkle, and Dorure, a top coat with gold pearlescence.

The face: Like the roses that bloom in the Tuileries, Rouge Blush heightens the colour of this Holiday collection with its ultra-pigmented formula, and also displays the name Dior framed by baroque motifs. Precious Rose, a nude peach, and Splendid Rose, a rosewood, celebrate the house’s favourite flower.

Something special: Symbolising the holiday season, Dior Addict reveals its vinyl shine with Jardin Doré, a frosted bronze, for a subtle result designed to suit different skin tones. Its formula infused with floral1 wax hydrates2 the lips for 24h and ensures 6h2 wear. This winter, a limited edition Dior Addict case is dressed up in white and gold, reflecting the snow on the gilded gates of the Tuileries. Christian Dior’s name gleams on the refillable case.
