12 designers to discover at V Fair, the 23rd edition
The year of 2019, for me, about #sustainability – I have decided not to buy things anymore. But, because the temptations were too many, for 2020 I will have a shopping schedule. One designer piece for each month. Therefore, here they are the 12 to discover at V Fair, the 23rd edition. And to put them on my shopping list.
V Fair takes place at Bucharest Telephone Palace (35 Calea Victoriei), on 2 and 3rd of November 2019. Designers, vintage collectors, the most talented young artists from 3 art universities from Romania are coming. #Vfair #sustainABILITY – www.vfair.ro.
What I am going to look for at V fair?
For January brunches, some pieces from the Timeless collection of Alexandra Nacu Jewelry. I know Alexandra fro some years and I love the way that she handcrafts the pieces. @alexandranacujewelry
For February winter days, a puffy jacket from Edita Lupea. Enough deconstructed and interesting to wear in the city, comfy & warm enough for a snowboarding slope. @edita.lupea
In March, it’s time for a new piece of jewellery. Most Precious is my choice, with its delicate and yet very edgy jewellery pieces. At V Fair I will find pieces from Butterfly collection – from recycled silver. @mostprecious.ro
April is for new trials – therefore this is the perfect time to ask DALB for inspiration. This is a new ready-to-wear premium brand, freshly launched by the designer Mihaela Dulgheru. @dalb_mihaela.dulgheru
May is all about my birthday 🙂 My gift for myself will be, for sure, a special piece, as the pearl necklaces by Lisa&Co. – The Pearl collection is about using classic materials in new ways. @lisaco_official
For June, let’s find out details from a collections that fights for the freedom of doing whatever we want and for equality. At V Fair, Bianca Popp will present Back to Back collection and I cannot wait to see all the pieces! @biancapoppofficial
July is coming with a twist – Framboise, with its pieces of silk and denim, with fluid fabrics and ruffles. @framboise.ro – READ here the interview with the designers.
If it’s August, then it’s Obsidian and their delicate & summerish pieces – handcrafted silver and the inspirations coming from nature’s forms. @obsidian.ro
September is for new pieces – I would bet on Mona Vasari collection – a very new & fresh brand, with minimalist and graphic pieces, with a strict eye for details.
October comes with autumnal creations from MOTTA – a brand that promotes simple pieces, easy to wear. And… they are ideal for days that are in between summer heat and winter flakes. @motta.ro
For November I will try some cool accessories from Climent Art – accessories that go well with different clothes pieces and styles – from elegant to hip & cool. @climentart
December is, always, the glamour month, therefore a piece from LUWA – a versatile brand, that comes with timeless pieces – is perfect for the shopping list. As for you, what are you going to put on your wish list? @luwa.design
