Profiles, by Marc Hom: the exhibition
Sienna Miller (photo up) next to Michelle Obama, David Beckham (and his tattoos) and Quentin Tarrantino on the same page: these are only just some profiles I could see in the wonderful exhibition, Marc Hom: Profiles, at IMMAGIS Fine Art Photography, Munchen.
“Marc Hom: Profiles” – from 7 April to 1 May 2017, at IMMAGIS Fine Art Photography, Blütenstrasse 1, 80799 Munich, www.immagis.de
27 works by photographer Marc Hom
27 works by the Copenhagen-born photographer Marc Hom will be on display at IMMAGIS. So we find Sienna Miller in an alluring outfit with an expressive hat, posing as if on a film set, and David Beckham in a moment of proud self-dramatization. There are also delicate and sensitive portraits of Hollywood icons, like Vanessa Redgrave, Glenn Close, and the younger generation of Anne Hathaway and Liv Tyler. Portraits of legendary film directors such as Roman Polanski, Julian Schnabel, Tim Burton, and Quentin Tarantino.
Marc Hom is known for his timeless and classic portraits of some of the most creative, influential, and remarkable figures of our time. His subjects include personalities such as Christopher Walken, Alicia Vikander, Angelina Jolie, Kate Winslet, Iggy Pop, Ben Affleck, Michelle Obama, as well as high-profile politicians and royal families, for notable magazines such as W, Vanity Fair, GQ, Vogue Germany, Esquire, and Harper’s Bazaar.
