10 things I liked at Monaco Yacht Show 2025

Incredible boats, heritage yachts, a lot of water toys and innovations. Plus: conferences about sustainability, renewable energy, interior design and of course, incredible days of sun, fun and Monaco vibes – of course I am talking about my first experience at Monaco Yacht Show, 2025 editions. What I saw and liked there? Here we go: 10 things I likes at Monaco Yacht Show 2025.

More info about all the exhibitions and more conclusions after the conferences – to see on https://www.monacoyachtshow.com/en/.
The stories on the spot – here – on @alinaaliman Instagram account (highlights and posts)

The classical one – Riva Classiche lover forever, I went to their dedicated area like… three times in a day. And every time I admire the beautiful craftsmanship, the colors and the elegance. Riva Classiche is the new Riva division that combines the unrivalled heritage and know-how of Riva RAM, established in 1957. Plus: in Monaco, Ferretti Group launched Riva 112’ Dolcevita Super.

The beautiful nautical exhibition – the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) has presented “Tribute to Yachting”, a photographic exhibition by renowned maritime photographer Guillaume Plisson. 143 pictures were set throughout the Show, offering visitors a detailed visual exploration of yachting: precise gestures, sculptural lines, light interacting with design. This curated exhibition pays tribute to the people shaping the yachting world – designers, builders, crews, and all those who live by or dream of the sea.

The yachts. Well, all the yachts and boats. But, to be honest, I do not like so much the very big ones. Therefore, my picks were… definitely the sailing boats (all of them, because sailing is about freedom and about sport, and about luxury as well…). To mention, in particular: the fourth yacht in Perini Navi’s 60-meter (196-foot) sailing series, Katana (exterior by Ron Holland and interior by Rémi Tessier).

Then, I found interesting to admire the new rib by Pirelli – the allure, the interior, the elegance, the Scotland boats (quite unusual and a bit dark, but practical), the elegante sailing boats, new launches like the WALLYWIND110, the robust Azimut line, the cool J Craft boats, the 236-foot Admiral 72 designed by the late Giorgio Armani, and the very special collaboration Frauscher x Porsche.

The Dockside Area, the true heart of the show along the quays of Port Hercule, showcased 120 super-yachts, including 50 new 2025 models and 20 yachts launched in 2024.

The fun & adventure zone. This zone featured 57 luxury tenders, cutting-edge water toys, and other high-tech gadgets for exciting onboard and off-board experiences. And an exclusive selection of 40 luxury vehicles. I liked the electric foil Aerofoil X Audi, the SeaBob toys (in collab with Lamborghini), the FunAir zone and especially the Foilone gadget (a combination between a foil and a boat for one – very elegant, very practical and edgy).

The decoration & interior design area. The Parvis Piscine exhibition tent showcased a curated selection of luxury finishes and accessories – the perfect finishing touches to personalize the yacht’s interior.
Paola Lenti brought a fresh perspective with exclusive, eco-friendly high-tech fabrics in hundreds of bold, expressive colors. Sabrina Monte-Carlo, Monaco’s renowned family-run studio, showcases its signature Mediterranean aesthetic with elegant furnishings, refined textures, and fully personalized interior schemes. I loved also the lovely furniture from French manufacturer Atelier D’Excellence, the pop art vibe of Octoport chairs and tables, the glass works of Orsoni Venezia.

The Blue Wake™  Awards at  Monaco Yacht Show 2025: a new era for sustainable yachting. This year’s show marked a major milestone with the launch of Blue Wake, a program dedicated to innovation and sustainability in the yachting industry. Throughout the show, visitors discovered a curated selection of 59 exhibitors, vetted in collaboration with the Water Revolution Foundation for their eco-responsible solutions – from hydrogen propulsion systems and alternative fuels to recyclable materials and circular construction practices.

The highlight of this first edition was the Blue Wake Awards, presented at the Grand Opening Night of the MYS. The awards recognised outstanding initiatives across five categories: TYKUN for hydrogen propulsion, Tai Ping for biodegradable carpets, Deasyl for its low-carbon fuel, Sanlorenzo for its fuel-cell-powered yacht, and SilverYachts for its recyclable aluminium catamaran.

Plus…

The unusual ones: a washing drone for yachts and the VR presentation from Amels Yachting.
The shuttles: of course, boats taking visitors and exhibitors all over the port.

The sustainable idea of water supply for the visitors provided by Pure Iconic Water.
The atmosphere: the Monaco vibe perfectly completed by classical cars (and not only), and the helicopter.
