Considered by many as “The best road in the world”, the Transfagăraşan turned 50 years old, and Porsche decided to celebrate as it should. We had, for three hours, the entire mountain just for ourselves. Incredible! 

Of course, that meant organizing an anniversary tour that featured more than 110 cars from 10 countries. Among the cars present at this event was the (sneak preview) of the new Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS, the first 911 hybrid (541 horsepower). In addition, the Carrera 4 GTS receives a special package, called “Tribute to Transfăgărășan”, limited to only 10 examples, to pay tribute to the famous road, which attracts car enthusiasts from all over the world.

The examples of the Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3 Coupe (1988), the Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6 (1993) and the Porsche 911 Turbo S (1998) came from the Porsche museum in Stuttgart to celebrate 50 years of the Turbo and the Transfăgărășan. www.porsche.ro
