Romanian Jewelry Week 2025 is loading

Over 270 designers from 40 countries will transform Bucharest into an international hub of creativity, innovation, and stories told through jewelry. My favorite event in town – Romanian Jewelry Week 2025 – is ready to be unveiled.

(See here – interviews with Italian Designers / interviews with Romanian Jewelry designers / Interview with David Sandu / interviews with German Designers at ROJW ). Stay tuned for news and a lot of interviews!

From October 1–5, 2025, Bucharest will host the sixth edition of Romanian Jewelry Week, the most important contemporary jewelry event in Romania.
The full program will soon be available on the website: www.romanianjewelryweek.com
Romanian Jewelry Week 2025 – National Library of Romania – October 1–5, 2025. October 1–3 – free entry. October 4–5 – tickets available via www.iabilet.ro

* In addition to international exhibitions and the ROJW2025 jewelry fair, visitors will have access to conferences, presentations, and workshops led by renowned names in the jewelry field. The program will take place in multiple venues across Bucharest, with the National Library of Romania as the main location, alongside museums, galleries, and independent spaces.

* This year, Romanian Jewelry Week is honored by the presence of prestigious collective exhibitions with diverse histories and experiences, all united by their passion for contemporary jewelry. Some are well-established landmarks in the field, such as SCHMUCKmuenchen, a reference forum in the jewelry world for over sixty years, regarded as the most important meeting point for experts and connoisseurs; or The International Jewellery Competition, the central event of the Legnica Jewellery Festival SILVER, organized since 1979 by the Gallery of Art in Legnica, one of the oldest European initiatives dedicated to supporting creativity at the intersection of art, craft, and design. Others are at the beginning of their journey but already shaping fresh perspectives, such as Slovenian Jewelry Week 2025, where the theme “Energy, Joy, and Harmony” explored jewelry as an artistic response to today’s global challenges. Alongside them, Romanian Jewelry Week also brings together diverse and innovative collectives, such as AdOC, Global Creative Graduate Show, Plus One Collective, Assamblage Contemporary School, Institute Jeanne Toussaint – Belgium, Precious Collective, The Sense of Beauty Gallery, and Unnecessary Jewelry.

* The special guest of this edition is Sławomir Fijałkowski – Polish designer, curator, and professor, with over three decades of experience bridging jewelry art, design, and industry. His works and vision combine traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technologies, and avant-garde expression with market realities. Alongside him, three other invited designers – winners of Romanian Jewelry Week awards – will present their creations in Bucharest: Yoonjung Choi (South Korea) – Grand Prize ROJW 2024, Isabelle Azaïs (Belgium) – ROJW Prize at Venice Design Week 2024, and Antal Zilahi (Israel) – ROJW Prize at Israel Jewelry Biennale 2024.

* In addition to the international jury, Romanian Jewelry Week will also grant a series of special awards, highlighting and supporting emerging voices and innovative projects in contemporary jewelry, with recognition offered by influential professionals in the field: galleries, cultural platforms, and design magazines
