Porsche Macan electric or Porsche Cayenne electric? (Well, tennis or yoga?)
It is very hard to say “no” to a test drive with the new Porsche Macan. Even harder when it is at Transylvania Tennis Open. But equally difficult to refuse is an invitation to try a yoga class in front of the new beauties in town: the new Porsche Cayenne electric. What to choose, what to choose?
The answer is simple: both of them. I mean, yoga and tennis, I haven’t decided yet about the cars. 🙂 Seriously speaking right now, I had the privilege to see, live, the girls grand finale in Transylvania Open and the atmosphere was amazing (and thank you, Porsche Romania, for that!). On the other hand, the yoga class (by Emily Fit in Porsche Pipera showroom), in a space full of horse power, had something… relaxing.

But, back to cars business, I will put here the list of pros and cons…
1. Porsche Macan electric – the second generation of the Porsche SUV takes things to a completely new level with all-electric powertrains, timeless design and sportscar performance. “The design has been sharpened both inside and out,” said Michael Mauer, Vice President Style Porsche.
In terms of power, speed and range – the new Macan 4 produces up to 408 PS (402 hp) when combined with Launch Control, that means it utilizes an “overboost” to deliver maximum power specifically for rapid, high-performance acceleration from0-100 km/h in 5.2 seconds. Then, the new Macan is the first Porsche to feature the newly developed Premium Platform Electric, that allows the battery of to be charged from 10 to 80% in around 21 minutes when using a fast-charging system. And approximately 550-600 kilometers range.
The pros? The power, the cool look on the outside, the comfort and the luxurious design on the inside, the incredible driving sensation. The cons? I wished my journey from Cluj to the Issa Resort (by the way, put this destination into your agenda – worth the visit and the horse show) would be longer.

2. Porsche Cayenne electric – as the first-ever all-electric Cayenne, the new Cayenne Electric represents a significant move for the brand. I loved its exterior design and I found the interior vey welcoming. As a fully electric SUV, it combines Porsche DNA with pioneering technology:, 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and up to 642 kilometers of range. It is the most powerful production Porsche of all time – and at the same time more versatile than ever: dynamic on the road, confident off-road and comfortable on long journeys. Well, feels like a Yoga class – powerful but gentle on the joints.

The pros? Of course the technical abilities, but also the beautiful colors – Grey Vanadium or Mystic Green Metallic? The cons? I didn’t schedule a test drive yet.
