Like mother, like daughter: Lily-Rose Depp is the new face of Chanel no.5

Lily-Rose Depp, the 17-year old actress and model is the new face of the campaign for Chanel No.5 L’Eau. She already was the face of Chanel Pearl eywear, she made some waves on Cannes Film Festival red carpet and Met Gala. The 17 year star begun her relationship with the house with a shoot for V magazine and an appearance in Karl’s fall/winter 2015 couture show, playing roulette alongside Kristen Stewart and Julianne Moore.

The young model steps on her mothers’ trail (Vanessa Paradis was a dear of the French house). Lily-Rose Depp “embodies her generation and its values of freedom and boldness to perfection, bringing to the iconic fragrance of the house her youthful freshness and beauty”, said the house of Chanel.

The photoshoot is signed by French fashion photographer Karim Sadli. “Thank you so much to the entire chanel team for this incredible honor!” Lily-Rose said on Instagram.

The new No.5 L’Eau is a new iteration of the classic scent, created by perfumer Olivier Polgeand centred around the same May rose notes as the original No.5. The fragrance will be released in autumn of this year, along with a campaign directed by Johan Renck.
