Cool and minimalist: inspiration for the fall

I know it’s still summer, but that fact doesn’t stop me dreaming of a beautiful weekend in Paris, at the beginning of October. And I have the perfect coat in mind, when I think about Paris. That’s because a few months ago when I step into the Theory showroom, in Paris, I couldn’t stop looking at the campaign pictures. It was my favourite model, Natalia Vodianova, captured by David Sims, in very cool clothes. Then I looked around and I saw, for real, that the entire Theory collection is very cool and minimalist, just the way I like it. Androgynous silhouettes, mixt materials: for Fall/Winter 2015 we have to choose between grey, camel, black and white tones, with a twist of cherry red, violet or dark brown. I loved the combination between feminine and masculine items, the mixed&matched proportion between midi skirts and maxi coats and the ’60s and ’70s inspiration. My favorite pieces? Maxi coats in camel, oversized black cardigans and the skinny trousers. Theory is a brand founded by Andrew Rosen in 1997. (www.theory.com)
