Équinoxe de Chanel: the fall-winter 2023 makeup collection
I am being honest: I like more seeing the make-up collection than using them (well, at leat not the entire palette). See, I said it. But I like a lot to see the beautiful textures of the eye shadows, the tones of the lipsticks, the dazzling nuances of nail polish borrowing the colours of the season to come. As in… Équinoxe de Chanel: the fall-winter 2023 makeup collection.
Équinoxe de Chanel: the fall-winter 2023 makeup collection: a brand-new eyeshadow formula, limited edition blushes, Rouge Coco Bloom lipsticks, and new nail colours. Available from end of August on www.chanel.com (and in Chanel Espace Beauté, www.baneasashoppingcity)
The magic of the colours, the warm light over the landscape, the soft nights: it’s no wonder Gabrielle Chanel adored fall, a season that inspired her with creative potential, inspiring her velvet and tweed pieces as well as her cozy knits and sweaters in warm, distinguished, powerful colours. This year, it was also the source of inspiration for the Chanel Makeup Creation Studio for the Fall-Winter 2023 makeup collection, translating it all into colours and effects for the Équinoxe de Chanel collection.
The shadows
A new limited-edition creation with a fine, powdery, airy texture, Ombre Première Libre comes in 6 natural, earthy shades that warm up the eyes: a satiny hazelnut brown, a deep walnut brown, and a warm burnt sienna are joined by a luminous, orangey copper, a caramelised garnet, and an intense aubergine. An powdery texture and a new cap with a built-in sponge-tip applicator, the creamy, sensuous powder can be applied in the blink of an eye.
The lights
Echoing nature, Douceur d’Équinoxe blushes give cheeks a flush of intense yet delicate colour and leave the complexion with a natural, luminous glow. The muted coral and beige palette warms up the complexion with energising colour, while the rosy beige and mauve pairing creates a soft healthy glow effect.
The contrasts
For the ultimate touch of sophistication, six new shades of Rouge Coco Bloom – ranging from luminous coral to brownish rosewood and sienna – were added, coordinating with two new shades of Le Vernis. With a bright orange hue and a shade of red-brown, Vibrant Le Vernis nail polish prolongs the joyful warmth of summer and ushers in fall.
