15 dresses perfect for party

It doesn’t matter if I am going to a classy ball in Vienna, to a funky bar in Berlin or a cosy chalet in French Alps: a nice outfit, perfect for a party should be in my suitcase. The possibilities are endless. So do the imagination of the designers, who send a lot of amazing outfits on the catwalks. After a lot of trials, I learnt that the most important thing is to feel good in that dress. To be… me.
All black: noboday will say “no” to a gorgeous long, black dress. In velvet, satin, organza, chiffon, silk, with or without embroideries, I saw the most wonderful dresses of the season in the Autumn/Fall 2015/2016 collections of Alberta Ferretti, Valentino, Calvin Klein, Mayiet, Rochas (pictured above, from the left). Just right for some elegant evenings in The Plaza in New York.
With a twist: these dresses are the choices for those who cannot bet all on just one color. Therefore, long sleeves in a bell-shaped, white flowers, ruffles, pink ribbons, red buttons, burgundy laser cut textile: I should not take myself to seriously with an outfit from Celiné, Mary Katrantzou, Monique Lhuillier, Gucci, Ferragamo. Wherever my New Year’s party would be…

Let’s play with colors and patterns… and not only with that. I could easily imagine that I go for a chic supper in a brasserie on Saint-Germain with the deux-piecès signed Chanel. Or to a cosy restaurant in St. Moritz dressed in the Louis Vuitton combo. Or, for the confort and a lot of happy mood, I could try, anytime, a dress signed Jonathan Saunders, Giambattista Valli or Isabel Marant.
