Artwill – Paul Neagu – Generative Codes (18 Apr-31 May 2026) – https://artwill.com/
The exhibition is intended as a synthetic overview of Paul Neagu’s trajectory, from his experiments with tactile art initiated in Romania and continued in the United Kingdom, to the construction of complex artistic systems expressed through drawing, object, performative actions, and later on, sculpture. The exhibition proposes an immersion into Neagu’s theoretical and formal universe, presenting all the media he worked in, and the stages of his trajectory.

Sandwich Gallery – Neurohope — https://www.sandwichgallery.ro/
There are two exhibitions in the space: Lilian Basarab, “Not Cruel, Truthful” and Ramon Sadic, “Supernova” (until 26 of June 2026)
Liliana Basarab’s solo exhibition brings into focus routines recovered through a drifting gaze, one that shifts from what is expected to be seen toward the peripheral, toward under-explored social niches. Minor narratives, captured with contemplative irony along the Beijing-Bucharest-Paris axis, take form in the series People of… and People of… details. From fleeting moments on public transportation to the banal gesture of handling a phone, now a natural extension of the body, everything gravitates toward a register of the familiar.
“Supernova”, Ramon Sadîc’s first solo exhibition in collaboration with Sandwich, brings together a series of paintings through which the artist probes his position within a context marked by social and political instability, constructing a visual meditation on contemporary uncertainty. Anxieties generated by social unrest seep into everyday life, taking shape as monolithic forms or dispersing into twists and vibrations.

P4rte / Urban Spaces – Irina Marinescu – Eyes Closed (until 15 of May)
A new and beautiful space hosts the emotional and amazing exhibition by Irina Marinescu. “Eyes Closed” proposes a return to a primary gesture: drawing with eyes closed, where the gaze disappears and the body takes control. The line no longer describes, it searches. The thread does not mark, it insists. Closing the eyes is not a gesture of withdrawal, but one of exposure. If the drawing is the impulse, the stitch becomes the memory. If the line is the appearance, the thread is what remains.

Kulterra – Liviu Alexa – Filcăi (1until 10th of May) https://kulterra.art/
His second solo show has a surprising story of its own. “Initially, I wanted to focus on a story centered around ‘demons,’ but then another idea came to me. It was right under my nose, in my own library: the tarot cards designed in the ’80s by the magnificent Dalí,” says Alexa. Liviu Alexa realized that there exists in Romania — more precisely in Transylvania, Dracula’s famous “headquarters” — a celebrated card game called Filcǎi, the commuters’ game, the game played at funerals or at the neighborhood pub, one that enjoyed incredible fame during communism.

Gaep – Vlad Nancă – Construction Time Again (24th of April – 6th of June) https://www.gaepgallery.com/
The exhibition imagines the relocation of modernism onto another planet through a new body of work encompassing sculpture, installation, mosaics, works on paper, and video. Looking to the past not with nostalgia, but through the lens of the future we seek to inhabit, Vlad Nancă gives modernist forms a second chance and reconsiders them as ethical propositions rooted in aspirations for better urban living. Construction Time Again is Nancă’s first solo exhibition with Gaep and his first solo project in Bucharest since his participation in the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale.
