An adventure in Madeleine Artisan Jeweler world
There is nothing better than to chat over a delicious coffee with a good friend. And when the talk is all about jewellery and contemporary fashion, about passions, seasonal fairs and plans for a new collection, the hours are passing rapidly. In one spring morning, I entered in Mădălina Rădulea showroom and I have discovered her latest works. And yes, she had a surprise for me: among the Karma rings and necklaces that I love, between silver and gold crosses of Madeleine Artisan Jeweler, I found out some pieces that are the beginning of a collection of jewellery for men, with silver and mini-stones.
Madeleine pieces can be found on… Instagram @madeleineartisanjeweler, on madeleine.com.ro, Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/madeleine.artisan.jeweler), @ Molecule-F Concept Store Promenada (www.molecule-f.com) and @Micri Gold Calea Victoriei.
My journey in fashion world started with…
… questioning everything.
Jewellery because…
… it’s mini-architecture.
My latest collection is about…
… colourful optimism and mystic revelations.
My first fashion sketch (ever) was…
… a lovely couture dress for my Barbie doll.
Old school items that will always inspire me are…
Retro is truly in fashion and for sure that there are some evergreens that will never cease to inspire, like pearls for example. But what I like is to do is give these items a new contemporary spin. Never the same, always in the present.
If my fashion mood board would be a city, it would be…
… Stockholm in spring.
The most extravagant thing I wish to design is…
Something one cannot live without, I want to imagine pieces that become part of your most personal style, pieces that are so imprinted in your style that they become your signature. Statement is for trend addicts.
The remedy for an inspiration gap would be…
… going outside, reconnecting with the present.
What is next?
Adventure. Always something new to keep the imagination alive. I want to test the limits of my designs.
