Nice capes with velvet details, skirts and jumpsuits with a bow, jackets so cozy that I need them all: the Fall/Winter 2015/2016 Martin Grant collection makes me think I could give autumn a chance. I liked that the designer kept the black&cream shade line in control, and sometimes he accentuated it with some silver sparkles. And, I must confess, I really really like the pieces because (almost) every one of them have pockets, ideal hideouts for some cold hands in the autumn.
The Paris-based Australian designer put the accent on wraparound leather belts for waist emphasis, cropped maxi skirts that made legs appear longer, jumpsuits that grazed the body, and cutouts placed at the lower back, where little excess collects. “I wanted it to be about luxury and class,” Grant said about the collection.
