Hit the road: Laura Olaru & Catch Michelle and their collection Route 66

A lot of explosive colours, a mix of cool bags, summer fashion items, two Romanian designers (Laura Olaru & Catch Michelle) and a super talented fashion photographer (Edward Aninaru): this is, for me, the winning mix of a beautiful capsule collection, named Route 66.

„Route 66 implies freedom, smiles, sweet dreams, colour and joy of life“, the designer Laura Olaru says about the new and (kind of) atypical collection launched together with Catch Michelle. And I am totally agree with her: this is what I called a collection just perfect for a road trip on Route 66 to Santa Monica, California. In a red Mustang, if possible. 

I would put on my shopping list the multifunctional bags created by Laura Olaru – fitted for summer escapades to the sea (and I just love the gorgeous supersized candy bag in blue). And, for sure, I would add to the list: the dresses, the jumpers and the summer suits by Catch Michelle (a brand created by Miahela Teleaga), pieces made out of fluid fabrics, in happy colours, ideal to be captured in an Instagram story.
