Top 11 dresses for the season’s parties

If I could, I would wear jeans or all kind of pants every day, every occasion. Including a party (see here the best party pants for this season). But, sometimes, I have to play the elegance card or it’s just the dress code… So I have to choose a dress. Therefore, not to be taken by surprise by the end of the year’s invites, I tried to put together a list of the most beautiful 11 dresses of Fall/Winter 2016/2017 fashion collections (well, I cheated a little and I tried the shirts and skirt combo). Suitable for every party in town.

First: the elegant choice (photo up). Like a elegant ball in a fancy restaurant, a dinner at the Opera, a red carpet moment or a charity gala. I would choose (from the left to the right) Blumarine, Valentino or Vionnet. In every case, the dress itself is quite spectacular, so all I need more would be a pair of chandelier earrings or a simple chocker, a fluid and simple haircut and a big smile.

Anthony Vacarello, Chanel, Loewe

The second situation: for the cool parties (with friends, in hip clubs, in chic restaurants or on a heated rooftop). My choices would be Anthony Vacarello (from far the favourite of all 11 outfits), Chanel and Loewe. The high heels boots, the pearls over a knitted sweater or the sandals and socks mix are acceptable.

Mary Katranztou, Leonard, Dolce&Gabbana

The third chance: the cocktail dresses with a print (and a twist). I love them very much (even I cannot wear them as often as I want to). Mary Katranztou and her complicated prints is on the list, as well as Leonard outfit and Dolce&Gabbana tiger print dress. These three are so suitable for clubs, lounges, Secret Santa’s parties, cocktail in an art gallery… Accessories? Oh, well, almost everything that could make the outfit more cheerful: turbans, orange clutches, painted shoes, fake fur capes.

Gucci, Iris Van Herpen

The special choices: Gucci and Iris Van Herpen dresses. With the first one I would go anywhere, basically, it is so elegant and pretty. The second one? I wish I had it before the Met invite…
