The Neo Pop Art Story with Lörincz Evelyne
I remember that I almost forgot to take pictures, and that’s a faux pas in this super-media-oriented world of today. I almost forgot to look for the name of the designer. I will say, in my defence, that at UAD Gala in Cluj, I was too busy to look very attentively to those 5 outfits sent to the catwalk to one of this year UAD Gala graduates, Lörincz Evelyne. Dozen of colours, minutious details in pink and green, embroideries, dots over leaves and some gold on top. The Notorious collection was good. And I wanted to try and see if it feels good, as well. It feels.
VARIANTA ÎN LIMBA ROMÂNĂ A NTERVIULUI – AICI.
The concept of Notorious collection signed by Lörincz Evelyne evolved during the documentation of neo pop art in the area of contemporary fashion. The starting points: Neo pop art artworks developed in the 80s, in contrasting bright colours, unusual designs and geometric shapes.
My journey in fashion world started with… in high school.
My graduation collection is about… Neo Pop Art in the area of contemporary fashion.
My first fashion sketch (ever) was… too old to remember.
Old school items that will always inspire me are… 70-80 silhouettes.
If my fashion mood board would be a city, it would be… London.
Fashion would never be… boring.
I would wear one of my designs… at a gallery opening in London.
I would like my signature look to be… ready to wear items.
In my opinion, the outfit of tomorrow will consist of…. fashionable clothes associate with sport shoes
The most extravagant thing I wish to design is… clothes for Leigh Bowery.
