A lot of white and neutrals (of course, we are in the Nordic county), some cuts, slip dresses, a lot of denim and some fairtytale outfits: these are the looks that we all saw on the catwalks at Copenhagen Fashion Week for fall/winter 2022/2023. But… almost as interesting as these were the trends that we have noticed outside, on the streets. Minimalism and a colourful sporty vibe continue to be the main trends of Copenhagen streetstyle scene, but this year we saw a lot of denim pieces, some fantasy accessories and bright colours. Copenhagen Fashion Week 2022: 4 streetstyle trends to remember.

1. Denim over denim, denim in all forms and cuts: jackets, skirts, bags, even shoes. We saw the mighty denim on Copenhagen streets big time this season. I really loved the wide low waist jeans with crop tops and the oversized jackets.

2. Colourful outfits: from raw green to vivid red, from pink and blue together in the same outfit, from fuchsia to bleu turquoise, nothing was left behind. My favourites? The pink pants suit and bleu and pale green combo.

3. The funny accessories: heels in the shape of a broken egg, small and cute bags, two totes on the same hand, funny colourful details, clogs and flip-flops matched with elegant outfits.

4. Last, but not least, the neutral pieces: white, beige, black, navy blue, grey and earthy tones: the classical Scandi vibe is back, more vivid than ever. Loved the layerings of skirts, jackets and pants in the same neutral tones, the three pieces suit an the white delicate embrodied dresses.

Sustainability is the core focus area for Copenhagen Fashion Week and it strives towards making substantial changes to the way the event is executed and works to inspire and encourage the industry to take steps towards becoming more sustainable. https://copenhagenfashionweek.com/
