Call all the jewellery lovers: AUTOR 2018 is about to start
I have an important announce to make: do not call me, do not tempt me with a day at the seaside, do not write to me. This weekend I will get myself lost in jewellery wonderland. On 5th and 6th of May, 2018 I am going to see the most talented and creative jewellery designers from all over the world. 80 designers, hundreds of beautiful pieces, dreams, smiles, talents. #peopleofAutor will be at TNB, Bucharest, for a feast of jewellery.
On 5th and 6th may, between 10.00-18.00, in the foyer of the main hall of the National Theatre Bucharest, over 80 designers from 28 countries will be on the 17th edition of AUTOR – contemporary and art jewellery fair. – http://www.dautor.ro
What I am eager to see? Well, the amazing designs of foreign artists, but as well as the #MadeInRomania creations. And there is so much to see (or re-see) and to admire: from architectural porcelain pieces of Raluca Buzura (read the story here) to the delicate shapes of Ana Marchetanu brooches, from the delicacy of What If I Fly ballerina (and their beautiful golden heart) – read the interview with the designers here – to the most vibrant colours of GI Jewellery by Isabela Groza, and leaf shaped gorgeous pieces signed Iza Vișoianu – read the story of her designs here.
Cleopatra Coșulet, one of the most talented Romanian contemporary jewellery artists will be the focus designer at the 2018 edition of AUTOR international fair. Her collection titled “The World Inside” speaks about a dynamic and heterogeneous inner universe, with varied emotions and experiences, which reveals itself to the viewer with honesty and invite to reflection and interaction.
