Vienna Fashion Week 2017: the urban cool

Maybe Paris has its glam, Milano its dolce far niente relaxation and New York Fashion Week the rush and the energetic vibe, but for sure Vienna has an urban cool attitude that everybody falls in love with. And MQ Vienna Fashion Week 2017 is not an exception from the rule.

MQVFW-Impressions

I was proud of Smaranda Almășan (omg, the prints and the jackets….) and Irina Schrotter collection (go, go, Romanian designers!). And I was pretty impressed that Indonesia had such a good presentation with Lulu Lutfi Habibi (the collection included some old materials that create new contemporary silhouettes, created in collaboration with some lurik artisans) and Handy Hartono colours. Milk (http://pleasemilk.me), one of the coolest Austrian brands, has a good runway (I could put all the black dresses and jumpsuits in my closet in a second) as well the Thai brand Paul Direk & Pitour presentation, with the ingenious patchwork style. The messages on clothes (one of the trends that stays for some seasons) couldn’t be missed on Ferrari Zöchling pieces. This MQ Vienna Fashion Week was black or… full of colours.
