There is no better way to show a Hilfiger collection than a stage full of cars and race for… shopping now all the outfits on the catwalk. TOMMYNOW “Drive” was the name of the show put together, this year, at Milano Fashion Week (last season, Tommy Circus landed in London).

Why cars? Why Formula 1? First of all, Mr. Hilfiger adores the races, the F1 cars and the speed boats. Secondly, tha brand has celebrated the Tommy Hilfiger partnership with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport. And, as a final argument – there is something better to suit with the “see now buy now” concept of the fashion today than a Formula 1 speed?
Curved racing stripes, reminiscent of the new F1 logo, were a theme throughout, while swimsuits, biker shorts, racer-back tanks and visors were covered with the chequered flag and denim boilersuits were making a hint to engineer overalls and leather biker jackets were decorated with branded patches.
The collection also included the hugely popular Tommy x Gigi capsule collection designed by supermodel Gigi Hadid, who took a victory lap with Hilfiger at the end of the show. This is Hadid’s last edit for the brand.
